Mini-Research: The Mining Industry

Caution: this research product is now out of date and I've intentionally priced it high to prevent most people from buying it. I keep this product available for the extremely small amount of people who may find it relevant or be using it to vet my research over time, as this is one of my earliest industry-specific research projects.

Background

In 2015 through 2016, I investigated the mining industry.

• This research does not contain a source RAG, as LLMs did not exist at the time.
• This research project was my first start at gaining insight into the mining industry.

Timing Context

Most of the research was completed in mid 2015 through early 2016. I've added a looking back page ending 2023 reflecting over my decisions.

30dg (decigram) of gold, paid in US Dollars.

Due to underreported inflation and fiat currency volatility, all prices are set in decigrams of gold and may be updated multiple times during the year. Generally, prices are set once a year.
